Did Blue Monday Get You Down?
A popular item in the news earlier this week was about Blue Monday. January can be a gloomy time. The weather’s grey and cold. The nights are long and dark. The festive feeling an ever-diminishing memory.
And around the middle of the month sees the Christmas card bills come crashing on people’s doormats. Added to that the first month in the calendar claims the dubious honour of having the most depressing day of the year.
January 20th is labelled Blue Monday due to all the above. But fear not it’s not all gloom, doom and debt.
