Documents that are needed when selling a home.

Estate agents will need proof of identity and proof of address for anti-money laundering purposes.

A copy of a valid EPC will also be needed, then from there the Solicitor will ask for additional documents, such as a property information form (TA6), the title deeds, the fixtures and fittings form (TA10) as well as any additional work certificates that have been completed while you have lived in the home. For example, a gas safety certificate or planning permission.
